How full is a full jar?

At Painted Laydies Mineral Makeup, we offer our mineral products by volume. Most companies list a weight in their product descriptions as apposed to volume.

Did you know that one shade or color can weigh a different amount than another? This is why we offer the same amount of product in each of our jars regardless of color or weight.

For instance, our Shimmy weighs more than our Coal for the same volume of product.
1 tsp of Coal is 2.4 grams, but 1 tsp of Shimmy is 3.1 grams.

So, rather than list our products by weight, we fill by volume each time so you are guaranteed to get the best deal!

All of our 10 gram jars are filled with 1 tsp by volume which ranges between 1 and 3 grams by weight. All of our 30 gram jars of foundations are filled with 4 tsp by volume wich ranges between 7 and 10 grams by weight.

We recycle our packaging to save on costs and to keep things out of the dump.

Your package may arrive in a previously used box or mailer. As a thank you for being our customer, you’ll get a sample of Painted Laydies Mineral Makeup in every order.

No requests are taken for specific sample colors because we ship a new color each month.
